BehavePlus 5.0.5 (Build 307) is the most recent version (August 12, 2011).
Fire Characteristics Chart Version 1.0 is available, and is the most recent version (June 21, 2011).
BehavePlus will run on 64-bit computers if it is NOT installed in Program Files.

- If you have a previous version of BehavePlus 5.0 on your computer, uninstall it before installing the latest version. You will not lose files you've saved.
- You do not need to uninstall version 4. You can have both BehavePlus4 and BehavePlus5 on your computer for comparison runs.
- In the program, check Help > Installation Information for the Build number to ensure you have the correct version of the program.

Please Note:
- BehavePlus Version 4 files are compatible with Version 5. See the tip on Accessing BehavePlus Version 4 Files from Version 5 for more information.
- The Version 4.0 User's Guide is still valid and was not updated for Version 5.0.
- The Variables paper was updated for Version 5.0.
- The User's Guide and Variables paper are bundled with the program as part of the Help system. They are also available for download from the Publications page.

Important Installation Instructions:
If you have already installed a previous version of BehavePlus 5.0 on your computer, uninstall it before installing the latest version on your computer. BehavePlus 5.0 automatically installs in a different directory than versions 4, 3, 2 or 1; it is not necessary to uninstall earlier versions before installing Version 5.
Earlier versions of the Fire Characteristics Chart, on the other hand, must be completely uninstalled prior to installing the latest version of the program. Your files will not be deleted, and, unless otherwise noted, new versions of the program will open your saved files.
