Change Log

BehavePlus replaced the BEHAVE fire behavior prediction and fuel modeling system, which was first available for field use in 1984. The most important changes that have been made in transitioning from the old BEHAVE through each version of BehavePlus are summarized in a PDF document. Because of the limited capabilities of the fire characteristics chart output option in the SURFACE module of BehavePlus, a Fire Characteristics Chart program has been developed as a supplement to the BehavePlus system.

• Fire Characteristics Chart Version 1.0 Beta1, a supplemental program for surface and crown fire characteristics charts, November 22, 2010.

BehavePlus version 5.0

• Version 5.0.5 (Build 307), a palmetto-gallberry bug fix and SURFACE Module options window change to accommodate small monitors, August 12, 2011.

Please check the Known Bugs below and the FAQs page to make sure that this problem has not already been resolved. Then, send a copy of any screenshots and a detailed error message describing the problem and what you were doing when the problem arose to the Fire Applications Help Desk . This will help us to recreate the problem and then resolve the issue.
