Version 1 of the Fire Characteristics Chart has been released. This stand-alone program is part of the BehavePlus fire modeling system, replacing the fire characteristics chart output option in the SURFACE module of BehavePlus. It is available for download on the Downloads page.
The program allows the user to graph observed or modeled fire behavior characteristics for surface and crown fire. A publication describing the application, operation, and mathematics of the chart has been published and is available for download on the Publications page and via the Help menu item of the program. |

Because of the limited capabilities of the fire characteristics chart output option in the SURFACE module of BehavePlus, a Fire Characteristics Chart program has been developed as a supplement to the BehavePlus system.
A Beta test version of the program is available on the Downloads page.
A publication describes application, operation, and the mathematics of the fire behavior fire characteristics chart. A draft of the paper is available under Help in the Beta version. |
